OMAHA, NEB.– SEPTEMBER 08, 2016 – Jet Linx Aviation, a private aviation company based in Omaha, is proud to announce the promotions of two loyal and integral employees, effective immediately.
Jay Vidlak, Executive Vice President
As a result of his hard work and dedication to Jet Linx, the company has promoted Jay Vidlak to Executive Vice President. In this role, Jay is responsible for working directly with the President CEO in managing, directing and developing the day-to-day operations of the Company, leading the National Operations Center (NOC) to achieve its various monthly, quarterly and annual goals for its Bases. Jay works daily with our Base locations and Vice President of Aircraft Sales and Human Resources Department at the National Operations Center to ensure alignment of the Company culture, best practices, and enhance overall strategy/mission throughout the organization. As an Executive Vice President, Jay has taken on the role of a coach, a supervisor, a liaison, and also a negotiator for all those who he comes in contact with both internally and externally on larger and smaller scales.
When it comes to new Base development, Jay is there to directly manage and educate all new Base team members, helping the Base to run smoothly and seamlessly from the start-up phase to the execution. His interaction with the company’s Base teams helps to instill and cultivate the Jet Linx service culture nationwide.
Having worked his way up to an executive position after starting at Jet Linx in 2007, Jay is excited to use his knowledge of the company and this promotion to make sophisticated decisions with a new, fresh and different perspective to ultimately elevate the efficiency of all departments as well as increase overall profitability for Jet Linx.
Jason Vanis, Vice President of Flight Operations
With his incredible knowledge and understanding of the aviation industry and specifically Jet Linx, Jason Vanis has been promoted to Vice President of Flight Operations. In this enhanced leadership role, Jason is responsible for overseeing the tactical and strategic activities related to utilization of automated tools, coordination and oversight of fleet management, operational control, revenue enhancement, and expense containment as related to the department. Jason works closely with the management team to develop standardized processes and procedures amongst all departments and Jet Linx locations as well as focuses on developing and utilizing the company’s key performance metrics to enhance profitability and sustain budget.
As Vice President of Flight Operations, Jason will be tasked with streamlining the processes within, and between, all Jet Linx departments to improve the overall efficiencies. In addition, Jason wants to provide the tools necessary to achieve company-wide success for all of the operations departments and base locations. He is confident that this will ensure that Jet Linx employees have what they need to be the best in the industry, which will in turn provide clients with the safest operations possible.
In this newly appointed role Jason will continue to work alongside and lead the excellent operations team he has helped to build over the years, with the goal of becoming the largest part 135 operator of managed aircraft in the U.S.
