Make It Epic

For nearly two decades, Elevated Lifestyle partner Epic Private Journeys has tailored luxury private escapes to some of the world’s most extraordinary places.

Since 2003, family-owned Epic Private Journeys (EPJ) has tailored private journeys to some of the world’s most sensational destinations including (but not limited to) Patagonia, Thailand, Botswana, Namibia, Australia, Madagascar, Peru, Galápagos Islands, Papua New Guinea and Antarctica. Catering to couples, families and small groups of friends, EPJ differentiates from other luxury planners by crafting custom itineraries with the help of professional guides. Their team “lives” the product, and offers a very intimate knowledge of the destination and most importantly, has a comprehensive personal network of contacts on the ground.

Because there is no such thing as a standard journey, EPJ seeks to deliver unique, authentic trips. Through personal consultation, EPJ understands what clients want, need and expect out of a trip. Private guides are available to accompany you, should you wish, to add depth to your experience and allow you to completely immerse yourself in the moment, without having to worry about the moving parts.

Experienced EPJ guide Brad Horn holds a pedigree that few others can match. His passion for adventure was nurtured while growing up on a cattle station in Western Queensland and in his time as an Australian Army Officer. After leaving the army, Horn spent six years living in the African bush operating safaris. In May 2018, he achieved a personal dream of climbing and successfully summiting Mount Everest. Horn has developed enduring relationships with the best tour and resort operators around the world.

Pedro O’Connor, another seasoned EPJ guide, grew up in Queensland near the Great Barrier Reef, turning him into a lifelong adventurer. O’Connor has trekked the Himalayas, ridden camels in the Thar Desert of Rajasthan, and been chased by elephants in Zambia. He has climbed active volcanoes and surfed the best waves of Indonesia. O’Connor has spent time on safaris to Zimbabwe, Swaziland and Mozambique. He has also experienced the cultures of Mauritius, Nepal, India and Europe. For the past three years, O’Connor has been acknowledged as a Travel Specialist by Condé Nast.
