In each edition of My Home Base, we feature a member of the Jet Linx team from across the country and showcase what they feel makes their Jet Linx location and their city special. In this edition, meet Jay Vidlak, Jet Linx Executive Vice President.
Favorite part of your job: Our incredibly professional, devoted and enthusiastic team members! Everyone is very passionate about what they do and take pride in their job – at each of our Bases and the National Operations Center.
Describe the Jet Linx team in one word: Dedicated.
Favorite Jet Linx memory or experience: Our 100 Aircraft Celebration. It was a huge milestone for our company, and I think it was tremendous example of the dedication and hard work that every team member put forth to make it happen.
Favorite thing about Omaha: Our team!
Little known fact about yourself, or favorite hobby: Both of my daughters are named after something related to aviation. Piper is named after the aircraft I learned to fly in (1943 Piper – J3 Cub), and Logan is named after Boston Logan Airport, which is where my wife is from.
