JET LINX MEMBERSEAT EXCHANGE: EXPLAINING OUR PRIVATE JET SEAT EXCHANGE
The Jet Linx MemberSeat Exchange gives Jet Card Members a new way to make the most of every flight. It lets approved Members request open seats on select Jet Linx flights, or offer empty seats on their own upcoming trips, all within the Jet Linx App.
This private jet seat exchange designed around the Jet Linx experience: personal, controlled, and supported by our team. It adds flexibility and value without changing the standards Members expect from Jet Linx.
What Is the MemberSeat Exchange?
The MemberSeat Exchange is a Member-only flight-sharing feature available in the Jet Linx App. It allows Members to view available seats on select Jet Linx flights, request an open seat, and, when they are the booking Member, offer open seats on their own trip. To protect client confidentiality, all identities remain completely anonymous until a seat request is mutually confirmed.
In simple terms, it is a way to make existing flights work harder for our Members. The flight is already scheduled, crewed, and operated by Jet Linx. The MemberSeat Exchange simply creates an additional way to use that capacity more efficiently and potentially offset a large portion of travel costs.
“The MemberSeat Exchange represents an innovative extension of our client-first philosophy,” said Jamie Walker, Executive Chairman of Jet Linx. “We are always looking to enhance our services to provide our clients with more flexibility and value, while ensuring every flight remains private, secure and fully within the trusted Jet Linx community.”

What the MemberSeat Exchange Is Not
The MemberSeat Exchange is not a public charter marketplace or an open flight-sharing app. It is not open-seat travel with unknown operators, and it is not a substitute for the consistency of Jet Linx service.
It is also not a new aircraft booking. You are joining an existing Jet Linx flight, not arranging an entirely separate mission. That distinction matters because the aircraft, crew, and safety standards remain the same as all Jet Linx flights.
How Our Private Jet Seat Exchange Works
If you want to request a seat, you submit the request through the Jet Linx App. The Member who booked the flight has up to 48 hours to accept or decline. Until the booking Member approves it, nothing is confirmed.
If you are the booking Member and your flight has open seats, those seats can be listed automatically in the Exchange. Your name stays private, and you decide whether to accept or decline any request. No explanation is required.
Once seats are sold, the flight is locked. That means the aircraft still operates as scheduled, and all costs remain in effect.
How Jet Linx Members Can Secure Empty Seats on Private Jets
The most immediate benefit is value. Members joining a flight pay less than chartering an entire aircraft, while the booking Member can receive a credit based on the seats sold.
The second benefit is flexibility. The program gives our Members more ways to fly without changing how they book or how the experience feels. It adds optionality, but keeps control where it belongs.
The third benefit is consistency. The flight remains a Jet Linx flight, with the same crew standards, safety protocols, and service approach Members already trust.
Member Privacy Matters
The Exchange is designed to stay discreet. The booking Member’s identity is not shown to others until seats are confirmed, and all client identities remain confidential within the Jet Linx community.
That matters because many private aviation travelers want savings, but not at the expense of privacy or control. The MemberSeat Exchange gives them both: a more efficient way to fly and a familiar Jet Linx environment.
How This Differs From a One Way Special
A MemberSeat Exchange flight is shared. A One Way Special is not.
With the MemberSeat Exchange, you are joining another Member’s occupied trip. With a One Way Special, you are booking an empty repositioning leg on your own. The two programs serve different needs, and it helps to understand that difference before booking.
Why This Matters for Jet Card Members
For Jet Card Members, the MemberSeat Exchange creates more ways to use the program well. It can help reduce waste, add value, and make private aviation feel even more practical without sacrificing the Jet Linx standard.
It also reinforces what Jet Linx does best: pairing personal service with thoughtful operational design. The result is a more efficient experience that still feels calm, private, and supported.
The Jet Linx Difference
The MemberSeat Exchange is a good example of how we think about private aviation. We look for ways to make flying more useful for Members, while keeping the experience clear, controlled, and personal.
That is the Jet Linx difference: more flexibility, more value, and the same Jet Linx experience.
