THE BEGINNING

Jet Linx was founded in 1999 with a simple but powerful vision: to transform private aviation by making it accessible, transparent, and extraordinary.

Our founders recognized a fundamental problem in the industry – opaque pricing, hidden fees, and a lack of genuine customer focus. They set out to create something different, something better.

What started as a single aircraft and a dream has grown into one of North America’s most trusted private aviation companies, serving thousands of discerning travelers who demand excellence.

  1. 1999
    FOUNDED IN 1999

    Founded in Omaha, Nebraska as a fractional jet company serving the local community, with a focus on a local, personalized service, with the guarantees of a national service provider.

  2. 2000
    NOC Established

    National Operations Center (NOC) established to centralize operations and support a growing base network.

  3. 2002
    Jamie Walker Joins Jet Linx

    Jamie Walker brings his vision and passion to Jet Linx, helping shape long-term growth strategy.

  4. 2003
    First Private Terminal Opened

    Established the industry’s first “private terminal” in Omaha, NE to serve our local clients to more personalize the experience and house the local team that serves our clients. This model has since been duplicated as part of our network of Base locations nationwide.

  5. 2004
    Introduced Jet Card & Aircraft Management Programs

    Founded originally as a fractional jet company, Jet Linx pivots to become the first and only (still today) local provider of guaranteed Jet Card and Aircraft Management services. Jet Linx was the first FAA-certified operator to offer its own guaranteed Jet Card. Previously, only brokers offered a guaranteed Jet Card.

    ARGUS safety certification

    First ARGUS Platinum safety rating achieved, which was an industry-first for an organization of Jet Linx size at the time. This initial push to lead in safety set Jet Linx in motion to aim higher and higher.

  7. 2009
    Expanded from Omaha, NE

    After 10 years of refining our best-in-class local service model in Omaha, Nebraska, we expanded to Indianapolis, IN and Dallas, TX with our unique Base model. Even in the depth of the Great Recession, demand grew for our industry-leading private jet travel solutions when prospective new clients appreciated the “value” of our offerings when compared to the other national and local alternatives.

  8. 2012
    IS-BAO Certification Earned

    After successfully earning an ARGUS Platinum safety rating, Jet Linx becomes recognized by the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) for its industry-leading safety policies, processes, and procedures.

  9. 2014
    Industry 1st for Safety

    WYVERN Wingman safety certification achieved. IS-BAO Stage 3 achieved, the highest level of IS-BAO safety certification. With ARGUS, WYVERN, and IS-BAO certifications, Jet Linx becomes the first operator in the U.S. to hold all three. An achievement since earned by less than 1% of all FAA-certified operators today.

    ANNUAL SAFETY SUMMIT ESTABLISHED

    Jet Linx becomes the first and only air carrier in the U.S. to stand-down its flight operations for a full business day, enabling its entire workforce to examine, evaluate, and advance safety practices. It has since been an annual event to reinforce its commitment to safety as a cornerstone of its operations.

  11. 2018-2019
    SCALING OUR LOCAL-FIRST MODEL

    Expansion into major metro markets including Chicago, Boston, and Austin. 20-year milestone celebrated in 2019.

  12. 2021
    20th Base Location Opens

    In 2021, Jet Linx opened its 20th Base location in Miami, Florida. As of today, it has a total of 22 Base locations, spanning from New York to Miami and across the country as far west as Scottsdale and Salt Lake and has plans to open the West Coast in the future.

    Another Industry-First for Safety

    Jet Linx becomes the first operator in the industry to earn ARGUS Platinum Elite and WYVERN Wingman PRO status for its continuous Safety Management System (SMS) monitoring to ensure the highest safety levels are adhered to daily on a flight-by-flight basis.

    25 Years & 200 Million Miles

    Jet Linx celebrates a 25 years of service milestone while surpassing 200 million miles flown! An achievement by less than 3% of the operators in the industry today.

  15. 2025
    GSOC

    Due to its growing international operations, now serving over 180 countries on an annual basis, and industry-leading flight safety practices, the National Operations Center (NOC) in Omaha, NE, which coordinates and oversees all flight operations, is rebranded as the Global Safety & Operations Center (GSOC) to reflect the best-in-class safety standards and expanded global operations of the Company.
