Client Data Analyst

Summary:
The Client Data Analyst is responsible for supporting Jet Linx sales and marketing teams through hands-on data work, report building, and HubSpot CRM administration. This role is intended to be entry level, with work that is highly detailed, hands-on, and time intensive. It requires strong follow-through, patience, and pride in getting repetitive processes right. The right person will enjoy structured work, care deeply about accuracy, and stay engaged in manual tasks that are important to keeping the business running smoothly.
 
This role partners closely with sales, marketing, and Business Solutions stakeholders to prepare data sets, support imports and list management, steward CRM data, validate reporting outputs, and build recurring reports that support day-to-day operations. This person will also be trained in SQL over time and will be expected to grow into deeper reporting and data support responsibilities as they learn the business, data structures, and underlying processes.
 
Duties & Responsibilities:
  1. CRM Administration & Data Stewardship
    1. Administer day-to-day HubSpot CRM processes, including imports, exports, record updates, property maintenance, list support, and general system hygiene.
    2. Serve as a data steward for CRM-related data by maintaining data quality standards, resolving duplicates and incomplete records, and helping ensure consistent field usage and mapping.
    3. Perform recurring manual data work required to keep sales and marketing data accurate, usable, and aligned across reports, lists, and CRM workflows.
    4. Follow defined processes for data updates, report refreshes, and CRM administration with strong attention to detail, consistency, and accountability.
  2. Reporting, Validation & Data Support
    1. Build, maintain, validate, and distribute recurring reports, dashboards, lists, and data sets used to support sales and marketing activities.
    2. Compare source data to report outputs, investigate discrepancies, and correct or escalate issues affecting reporting accuracy and dependability.
    3. Support ad hoc data requests by organizing, filtering, and preparing usable data for stakeholder needs.
    4. Learn SQL and related reporting practices over time in order to support more advanced reporting and analytical needs.
  3. Stakeholder Support, Documentation & Continuous Improvement
    1. Document recurring procedures, data definitions, and workflow steps so work is repeatable, supportable, and easier to transition over time.
    2. Support sales and marketing users with HubSpot troubleshooting, process guidance, and basic user support.
    3. Identify workflow gaps, data issues, and manual friction points, and help recommend practical improvements.
    4. Partner closely with sales, marketing, and Business Solutions stakeholders to support data, reporting, and CRM-related needs.
    5. Maintain regular and predictable on-site attendance.
    6. Demonstrate Jet Linx’s core values and “Supply the High” in all interactions.
    7. Perform other duties as assigned.
 
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong attention to detail with a low tolerance for inaccurate, incomplete, or inconsistent data.
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working in spreadsheets with filters, lookups, formatting, validation, and data cleanup.
  • Comfort working inside CRM platforms, including record maintenance, imports, exports, field updates, list management, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to steward CRM data by enforcing standards, maintaining clean records, and spotting data quality issues before they spread.
  • Ability to compare source data to report outputs, investigate discrepancies, and validate results with care.
  • Ability to follow repeatable technical processes consistently and handle time-intensive, detail-heavy, and recurring manual work without losing accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills, follow-through, and accountability in managing detailed work with shifting priorities.
  • Willingness and aptitude to learn SQL and reporting logic as part of the role.
  • Ability to learn data structures, field definitions, and business rules quickly enough to support technical workflows with minimal hand-holding.
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to explain data issues, report questions, and CRM processes in a simple way.
  • Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams while maintaining ownership of detail-heavy technical work.
 
Education and Work Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in analytics, information systems, business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 0–2 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, CRM administration, sales operations, marketing operations, or a related support role preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Excel, including working with large data sets, lookups, filtering, cleanup, and validation, preferred.
  • Experience supporting imports, exports, list management, report building, or data quality workflows preferred.
  • Exposure to SQL, reporting tools, or basic query logic is preferred, with the expectation that deeper SQL capability can be developed in role.
 
Physical Requirements:
  • Majority of work is completed in a normal office work environment.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Able to complete physical activities such as standing, sitting, walking, talking, and hearing to perform daily work functions.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and push/pull carts if necessary.
 
Compensation: 
Jet Linx offers a competitive compensation and benefits package to team members.  Starting base annual salary for this position ranges from $58,500 to $81,900. Actual base salary provided is dependent upon geographic location, aircraft size (crew positions), relevant education, training and experience of the candidate.  Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with 6% company match, paid time off and company paid life and short-term disability coverage.
